Ukrainian Premier League club FC Chornomorets Odesa are in advanced talks to sign Nigerian striker Samson Iyede.
According to bold.dk, Chornomorets are close to signing AC Horsens star Samson lyede on a season-long loan deal.
A new chapter in his career awaits him at the Ukrainian club after he struggled for game time at AC Horsens last season following his move from FC Fredericia.
From a possible thirty five matches in all competitions in 2022-2023, he was named in the starting lineup seven times including three in the Oddset Pokalen.
Iyede lists FC Ebedei, FC Midtjylland, Paide, Fremad Amager, Lommel among his previous clubs.
The 25-year-old was left out of AC Horsens' matchday squad for their season opener against Kolding IF on Sunday, July 23, fueling speculation that a transfer is on the cards.
AC Horsens, who were relegated from the Danish Superliga last season, have a contract with Iyede until the summer of 2025.
Chornomorets finished the 2022-2023 season in tenth place in Ukraine's top football division, the Premier League.
