Waldrum namechecks four 'extremely talented' Lionesses players including new Arsenal striker

With the Super Falcons set to face England in a round of 16 clash at the 2023 Fifa Women's World Cup, manager Randy Waldrum has namechecked four 'extremely talented' players in the Lionesses squad.
The Super Falcons resumed full training activities at Lions FC stadium on Thursday ahead of the showdown against the European champions at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
It was important the Super Falcons got two days of rest as last week was demanding with two games played and they looked a bit tired after the goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland.
In their opening two games, England were not as brutal as they were in their 6-1 rout of China PR, having struggled to earn 1-0 wins against Haiti and Denmark.
Nigeria coach Waldrum is wary of the England squad even though they were not at their best in the group stage.
The American football tactician namechecked Barcelona's Lucy Bronze, Chelsea dazzler Lauren James, Aston Villa forward Rachel Daly and Alessia Russo as he spoke about the talented England team that earned a statement win against China PR.
Russo swapped Manchester United for Arsenal last month following the expiry of her contract with the Red Devils.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Waldrum said: "They are extremely talented with Lucy Bronze, Rachel Daly on the flanks; the way James is playing and creating all kinds of havoc up front, Russo, the whole group.
"They are all extremely talented players, so we are going to come up with a game plan to make sure we can change the way, we saw how China played.
"The one big difference us and China is that they don't have the speed and athleticism and our strength."
