Official: Anderlecht loan out former Golden Eaglets midfielder to BK Hacken
Published: August 05, 2023Former Golden Eaglets star Ishaq Abdulrazak has left RSC Anderlecht for Swedish side BK Häcken.
Through their official website, BK Häcken have announced the signing of the Nigerian midfielder on a one-year loan deal until June 30, 2024.
He joined Anderlecht last summer from Swedish Allsvenskan outfit Norrköping on a four-year deal but struggled to get minutes.
He could only feature 3 times for the Belgian side in the Jupiler Pro League last season but featured prominently for their second side, Anderlecht Futures, making 18 appearances in all competitions.
Commenting on his move to the Swedish side, the former Golden Eaglets star revealed his familiarity with his new side and is looking forward to playing with his new teammates.
"I will do my best and give 100 per cent. I have seen several matches from Belgium. BK Häcken plays very good football and I look forward to being a part of it," he told the club's official website.
Abdulrazak is awaiting his work permit before he is ready to make his debut for the Sweden-based outfit.
He started his journey in Europe with Norrköping and made 61 appearances across all competitions.
