Europe's top 5 leagues: Tottenham Hotspur left-back Udogie named in U21 Team of the Month

The recognition keeps coming for Italy U21 international of Nigerian descent Destiny Udogie as the left-back has been named to Whoscored's Europe's top five leagues U21 Team of the Month for August following his outstanding displays for Tottenham Hotspur.
Previously, the exciting fullback was included in Alan Shearer's Premier league Team of the Week for matchday three and also made Whoscored's Europe's top five leagues' U21 TOTW after bagging his first assist in the Premier League against Bournemouth.
Udogie started all the three matches contested by Tottenham Hotspur in the top flight last month, logging 242 minutes in total.
In a 4-2-3-1 formation, the Italian-Nigerian youngster is part of a four-man defence also containing Tiago Santos (Lille), Soungoutou Magassa (Monaco) and Abakar Sylla (Strasbourg).
The midfield is made up of Pape Matar Sarr (Tottenham), Pablo Barrios (Atletico Madrid), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), the top rated player in the Team of the Month Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao), while Arnaud Kalimuendo (Rennes) has been named in attack.
Udogie averaged a Whoscored rating of 7.07 and his best performance was against Bournemouth, where he provided the assist for Dejan Kulusevski’s goal and made four clearances
The 20-year-old won five fouls for Tottenham across the three Premier League matches in August.
