With a statement on their official website, Swiss Super League side FC Lausanne-Sport have announced the signing of Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu from Watford.
Kalu will spend the remainder of the 2023-2024 campaign on loan at FC Lausanne-Sport, with an option to buy included in the agreement.
The 26-year-old arrived at Vicarage Road in January 2022, and made thirteen appearances in all competitions including four starts.

A product of GBS Academy, Kalu began his career in Europe with AS Trencin in 2016 and after a year he moved to KAA Gent, where he directly participated in 26 goals (10 goals, 16 assists) in 55 matches, before heading to Bordeaux in the summer of 2018.
Kalu is is expected in Lausanne once all the formalities related to obtaining his visa have been completed.
He will be wearing the number 22 shirt at the seven-time Swiss champions, who currently sit 11th in the table.
