Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus linked with Ndidi as agent confirms Bayern's summer interest

Top European clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation of Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi.
German transfer market website Fussballtransfers, making reference to Barcelona based sports daily Sport claims that La Liga giants Barcelona are interested in Ndidi and face competition from Atlético Madrid and Juventus.
Ndidi has nine months left on his contract with Leicester City, whom he joined from Racing Genk in January 2017.
Ndidi's future at Leicester City has been the subject of speculation in recent months, as discussions on a new Leicester City contract has not yet started.
In search of a holding midfielder, Bayern Munich had Ndidi on their radar in the summer transfer window but a deal did not happen, according to the player's agent Franjo Vranjkovic.
The Bavarians prioritized the signing of Fulham star João Palhinha over Ndidi but a move fell through on deadline day despite the Portuguese traveling to Germany to undergo a medical.
"There were very good discussions with those responsible at FC Bayern at all levels, primarily with Mr Jan-Christian Dreesen," Vranjkovic said to Kicker, via Fussballtransfers.
"In the end, however, the decision was made that Wilfred would not be the holding six at Bayern Munich."
Ndidi is thriving under new Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca in the new season having registered four goal involvements from ten appearances playing as a box-to-box midfielder.
