Fulham manager to make decision on whether Tosin will be involved against Manchester United
Published: November 03, 2023
Fulham boss Marco Silva is set to make a decision on whether to field Tosin Adarabioyo against Manchester United in game week 11 of the Premier League which is set to be played at Craven Cottage tomorrow.
The Anglo-Nigerian defender has made just one appearance in the Premier League this season due to injury and is in contention to be named in the matchday squad to face the Red Devils.
The Cottagers have been without a right-sided centre-back for the past two weeks with Tosin and Issa Diop, the two natural fits for the position recovering from injury.
Silva has revealed that he would have to make a late decision on whether to play the Manchester City Academy product against Erik ten Hag's side
In quotes relayed by the Cottagers' official Twitter handle, the Portuguese tactician said: "Kenny Tete, Tosin and Adama (Traoré) are in the last steps of their recovery. I'm going to make a decision on whether they will be involved in the squad".
Only three points separate Fulham and Manchester United heading into the game, with the Cottagers garnering 12 points while the Red Devils have 15 after ten rounds of games.
Nigeria internationals Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi should be available to face Manchester United.
