Montpellier striker Akor Adams drawing interest from seven-time European champions
Published: November 13, 2023
Seven-time European champions AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for high-flying Nigerian forward Akor Adams.
According to gianlucadimarzio.com, the Italian giants are looking at the possibility of signing the Montpellier forward in the January transfer window and have also set their sights on VfB Stuttgart's red-hot striker Serhou Guirassy.
The Rossoneri reinforced the attacking department in the summer with the signing of Christian Pulisic, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze but only the American has found his feet
Adams has settled in brilliantly in Ligue 1, he netted two goals on his debut recording the fastest time by a debutant to score a brace and also equaled Olivier Giroud's 12-year record for most goals scored for Montpellier after ten games.
He has notched 7 goals which places him second on the top scorers' chart, behind Kylian Mbappe who has 13 goals.
Having just joined Montpellier, AC Milan will have to cough out a big chunk of money if they are to acquire the services of the former Flying Eagles forward in the winter transfer window.
The onetime Lillestrom goal poacher has a contract with Montpellier until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
