Eintracht Frankfurt on the brink of beating Brighton & Hove to the signing of 20yo Nigerian striker
Published: November 22, 2023
Promising Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi is heavily linked with a transfer to German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old is prioritizing a move to Eintracht Frankfurt despite interest in his services from Premier League side Brighton & Hove.
Durosinmi has made a splash this season with fifteen goal involvements (9 goals, 6 assists) in nineteen appearances across all competitions for Czech club Victoria Pilsen.
According to Sky Deutschland via Transfermarkt, Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed personal terms with Durosinmi and he should be moving to the Eagles in the winter transfer market for a fee of between 7 million and 8 million euros plus bonuses.
Brighton have been keeping tabs on the 6ft 4ins striker, who has his heart set on a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Durosinmi has been likened to former Arsenal strikers Nwankwo Kanu and Emmanuel Adebayor due to his physique and playing style.
Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to bolster their forward ranks with the signing of at least one striker in the January transfer window.
Durosinmi is expected to fill the gap left by Randal Kolo Muani's move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain .
