The truth about Hull City's links with Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
Published: November 29, 2023
Manchester City academy product Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, continues to be linked with a January transfer to Championship outfit Hull City by top Turkish media outlets.
It has been claimed that Hull City - who are owned by Turkish entrepreneur Acun Ilıcalı - have started negotiations to add Hatayspor's 22-year-old midfield maestro Dele-Bashiru to their squad.
Dele-Bashiru has impressed since joining Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window, registering eight goal involvements in twelve games.
And on the back of his form,it was suggested that the one-cap Nigeria international was on the radar of clubs in Italy, Turkey and England.
As first reported by Hull Live, allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm and report with certainty that the Tigers are not currently pursuing a deal for Dele-Bashiru.
There is no concrete evidence to back up the claims that Hull City are interested in signing the Nigeria international as the Championship club have yet to open talks with Hatayspor and the player's bona fide representative.
Dele-Bashiru, who is also eligible to represent the English and German national teams, has committed his international future to Nigeria and made his senior debut in a friendly against Mozambique last month.
