Arsenal run the rule over Dutch-Nigerian attacker ahead of potential transfer

According to Football Transfers, Arsenal ran the rule over Super Eagles-eligible Joshua Zirkzee over the weekend as the English club representatives were said to have seen him play for Bologna against AC Milan in a Serie A fixture at the San Siro.
The Gunners' representatives must have been pleased with what they saw as the talented forward played a vital role in ensuring Thiago Motta's side rescued a point from the encounter.
The Netherlands U21 international opened the scoring in the 29th minute, rifling the ball beyond the reach of Mike Maignan to register his eighth goal of the campaign in the Italian top-flight.
Arsenal want to bolster their attacking department with the addition of Zirkzee but a move this month is highly unlikely and will have to fight off interest from other clubs in the summer for his signature.
It has been a breakthrough season for the Dutch-Nigerian striker as he has been one of the best young players in the Serie A.
His performances have attracted interest from AC Milan, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Arsenal and it won't be surprising if he leaves Bologna at the end of the current campaign.
With his goal against AC Milan, Zirkzee has now registered 8 goals and two assists in the Serie A this term.
