England squads announcement: Six Nigeria-eligible players called up, including three Chelsea starlets

The English Football Association announced the Young Lions' rosters on Friday ahead of international matches later this month, with six Nigeria-eligible players getting invites.
Having recovered from an injury that has plagued him for majority of the season, Carney Chukwuemeka has received his first call-up to England U21s and joining him in a 24-man squad is Chelsea teammate Noni Madueke.
England U21s will face Azerbaijan on March 22 and then host Luxembourg in Bolton on March 26.
There are also two Nigeria-eligible players in England’s Elite League squad (formerly known as England U20s).
Highly-rated Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, who missed out on the 2023 Fifa U20 World Cup due to injury, and Olympiacos defender Nelson Abbey will join the group ahead of upcoming matches against Poland (March 22) and Czechia (March 26).
Aston Villa youth teamer Jamaldeen Jimoh and red-hot Chelsea winger Tyrique George have received call-ups to England's U18 squad.
The U18 Pinatar Super Cup will see the Young Lions facing Czechia, Germany, and the Netherlands over a span of six days.
