Super Eagles duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze has been named in Whoscored.com's Serie A matchday 31 Team of the Week.
Osimhen bagged a goal for Napoli as they staged a comeback to beat mid-table Monza 4-2 a the U-Power Stadium - Brianteo on Sunday.
In the 55th minute of clash, the 2023 CAF Men's Player of the Year rose incredibly to meet André-Frank Anguissa's cross and head the ball into the back of the net to put Napoli on level terms.
The goal was his first since February and brought his tally for the season to 12 which is miles away from his last season figure when he notched 26 goals to win the Serie A top scorer award.
Likewise, Chukwueze also continued his brilliant form for AC Milan, starring in their 3-0 win over Lecce at the San Siro.
The Super Eagles forward showed great footwork to beat his markers before setting up Christian Pulisic to open the scoring for the Rossoneri.
He has now registered two goal contributions for Stefano Pioli's side in the last three league games, underscoring his improvement in the last few weeks.
Also named alongside the Super Eagles forwards are five players from AC Milan, the most by any club, one apiece from
Roma, Juventus, Sassuolo and Torino.
