Confirmed: 20yo goalkeeper Ugboh departs FC Midtjylland for CD Mafra on permanent deal

Through a statement on their official website, FC Midtjylland have confirmed that Nigerian goalkeeper Mark Ugboh has left the club for good.
The 20-year-old is moving to Portuguese setup CD Mafra on a permanent deal, thus ending his two-and-a-half-year association with the Wolves, whom he joined from partner club FC Ebedei in January 2022.
Ugboh has departed the Jutland outfit without making his senior debut for the first team.
The goalkeeper was named in nineteen matchday squads for official games ,comprising eight in the Europa League, four in the Champions League qualifiers, two in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, four in the Superliga and was also an unused substitute in the Danish Cup.
For a long period, Ugboh who appeared in 25 matches for the U19s and posted an impressive fifteen clean sheets, was the third choice goalkeeper for Midtjylland's first team.
Ugboh spent last season on loan at Danish 3. Division club Holstebro Boldklub in search of first team experience.
The FC Ebedei product showed excitement and eagerness upon his arrival at CD Mafra and expressed confidence that he can continue his development at the Liga Portugal 2 team.
He also highlighted his commitment to contributing to the team in every possible way in the forthcoming season.
