Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that Championship new boys Derby County are on the verge of announcing the signing of Valencia-born Nigerian young star David Ozoh.
Derby County have reached a club-to-club with Crystal Palace to sign the history-making midfielder on a season-long loan.
Ozoh holds the record for the youngest-ever player to feature for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, aged 17 years, eight months and 15 days when he made his debut against Newcastle United in January 2023.
The 19-year-old has just given his green light for a move to the Rams despite interest from multiple English Football League clubs plus French Ligue 1 outfit RC Lens.
Ozoh has agreed personal terms with Derby County and will undergo a medical on Monday, July 22 ahead of his unveiling.
Derby County saw off competition from Championship rivals West Brom, Cardiff City, Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town to win the race for the tri-national player, who is also eligible for England and has made his debut for the Young Lions at U18 level.
Since his historic debut against the Magpies, he has totaled thirteen appearances for Palace's first team
The all-action midfielder has played against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League.
Ozoh has been on the books of Crystal Palace since the age of eight, rising through the youth team ranks to sign his first professional contract with the Eagles in August 2022.
He could make his competitive debut for Derby County on the opening day of the Championship season on Friday, August 9 when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
