Yakubu Adams Mustapha: After Suleiman, AS Trencin set to confirm signing of another NPFL teenage star

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that Slovak Fortuna Liga club AS Trenčín have shaken hands with Nigerian grassroots club GBS Academy over the transfer of two promising players who featured in the Nigeria Premier Football League in 2023-2024.
After Sani Suleiman, AS Trenčín are also on the verge of confirming the capture of another exciting talent, Yakubu Adams Mustapha.
The 19-year-old has already agreed personal terms with AS Trenčín and will head to Slovakia in the coming days to complete his transfer to the two-time top flight champions.
He has agreed a two-year contract that will keep him at AS Trenčín until the summer of 2026.
Adams carved out a reputation as one of the most exciting teenagers in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a string of brilliant performances for Plateau United.
The precocious youngster has been described as a central midfielder with a long range of passing and also has the knack for getting into attacking positions.
Adams has been likened to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira due to his playing style and physical attributes.
He has been identified as one of the top prospects in the land by Nigeria's youth team coaches and was called up to Nigeria's U20 national team and Olympic Eagles training camp in 2022
Sani Suleiman and Yakubu Adams Mustapha will team up with ex-Nigeria U20 internationals Emmanuel Uchegbu, Jude Sunday and Chinonso Emeka at AS Trenčín.
