Italian-born Nigerian forward Destiny Efosa Egharevba, 21, has left Serie A club Fiorentina for good, following his transfer to Serie C outfit AC Renate on a permanent deal.
Through official channels, AC Renate announced the acquisition of the former Italy U19 international on Friday, August 2.
Egharevba has signed a two-year contract at the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2026, with a club option for the 2026-2027 season.
Born in Verona to Nigerian parents, he has departed Fiorentina without making his senior debut, though he received four call-ups to the first team during the 2021-2022 season.
He started his career at Chievo and remained there until the bankruptcy of the Verona club in the summer of 2021.
The Italian-Nigerian winger won the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup during his stint with Fiorentina.
During the last two seasons, he appeared in 37 Serie C matches wearing the jerseys of Vis Pesaro, Fiorenzuola and Recanatese.
AC Renate have signed a versatile player who is capable of playing as a right winger, center forward, right midfielder, left winger or second striker.
The Nerazzurri will face Pro Patria in their season opener on August 25, 2024.
