Super Eagles left-back Zaidu joins Ronaldo in paying tribute to Porto and Real Madrid legend Pepe

Super Eagles left back Zaidu Sanusi has reacted to the retirement of former Real Madrid star Pepe who called it quits on his football career on Thursday.
Pepe's last game was in the European Championship concluded last month, when he featured for Portugal in their quarter-finals clash against France.
The defender had a blissful career which saw him star for Real Madrid where he won three league and three UEFA Champions League trophies, as well as winning Primeira Liga with Porto on four occasions.
He also played a vital role for Portugal when they won the European championship in 2016 and made 878 appearances in his career,winning 34 trophies.
Just like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sanusi has taken to his social account to celebrate the retired defender whom he played with at Porto for four consecutive seasons.
The 27-year-old wrote on his X account : Thank you legend @officialpepe"
Sanusi joined Porto in the summer of 2020, a a year after Pepe rejoined the Portuguese giants and they both won six titles together with the club.
The Nigeria international is still trying to recover from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered in February which has kept him out of action till now.
