Exciting teenage striker Daniel Job scores on full Norwegian Eliteserien debut for Sarpsborg

Exciting teenage Nigerian striker Daniel Job was on target on his full Norwegian Eliteserien debut as Sarpsborg 08 FF were held to a 2-2 draw by FK Haugesund on matchday nineteen of the division on Sunday.
After three appearances off the bench, the 18-year-old was handed a starting berth for the visit of Haugesund.
Job, a product of Future Pro Football Club which produced ex-Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles captain Ramon Azeez, has been promoted to Sarpsborg's first team thanks to his outstanding performances for the reserve team.
Franklin Uchenna's 27th minute opener was canceled out by Julius Eskesen, before Job scored just past the hour mark to give the home team the lead for the first time in the game.
Five minutes after Job's goal, Sarpsborg supporters gave him a standing ovation as he walked off the pitch to be replaced by Pawel Chrupałła.
Predominantly a winger, Job played as a center forward against Haugesund, a tactical masterstroke that paid off.
The talented forward initially joined Sarpsborg 08 FF on loan from Future Pro Football Club in February 2024, before the Norwegian club activated the purchase clause for the teenager, signing him permanently until the end of the 2028 season.
Job has scored nine goals in fourteen appearances for Sarpsborg U23 team in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen avdeling 3.
