Fenerbahce coach Mourinho reacts to penalty incident involving Osayi-Samuel that saw him red-carded

Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho has commented on the penalty incident involving Bright Osayi-Samuel and Manuel Ugarte during the second half of his side's 1-1 draw with Manchester United in a Europa League encounter at
Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Spor Kompleksi in Istanbul on Thursday night.
The points were shared after Youssef En-Nesyri cancelled out Christian Eriksen's 15th minute opener.
Jose Mourinho receiving his marching orders in the 57th minute was one of the taking points of the game.
After Osayi-Samuel fell to the ground in the opponent's penalty area, the Portuguese coach objected and was sent off the field by referee Clement Turpin.
The Nigeria international seemingly attempted to con the referee into awarding Fenerbahce a penalty as replays suggested that the challenge by Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte was minimal.
Manuel Ugarte barely brushed Osayi-Samuel's right leg before the Fenerbahce defender threw himself to the ground.
Mourinho was asked to share his thoughts on the penalty incident that saw him red-carded, and also revealed what he was told by the referee at the end of the game.
Speaking to the match broadcaster, he said: "I don't want to speak about it. He told me something incredible, he told at the same time he could see the action in the box and my behavior on the touchline.
"I congratulate him because he's absolutely incredible, his peripheral vision during the game 100 miles per hour, he had one eye on the penalty situation and he had one eye on the bench and my behavior.
"That's the explanation he gave me, that's why he's one of the best referees in the world."
Mourinho acknowledged that he has had the chance to watch the incident back but refrained from making any further comment.
"I watched the incident, I don't speak about the incident."
With the draw against Manchester United, Fenerbahce increased the points they have in the Europa League to five.
