This win solidifies Genk's position as league leaders, with Arokodare retaining his top scorer title.
The 23-year-old's impressive performance, which included scoring a goal and earning a penalty, has caught the attention of scorer of the most beautiful goal of all time in the Belgian league, Wesley Sonck.

In an interview with Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws via Voetbalnieuws, Arokodare expressed gratitude for Sonck's recognition, whilst also highlighting his determination to continue improving.
"At first, he wasn't happy with my performance, but I really appreciate it. He noticed that I'm doing better now," Tolu said.
That a legend of the club says something like that gives me a boost. Next week, I want to do even better."
Looking ahead to Genk's next league match against Antwerp, the striker acknowledges the significance of the upcoming encounter, referencing Genk's 2023 title match against Antwerp.
"Antwerp remains special to us, but as always, we will rely on our own strength. I also believe that I have a decent balance against them."
