Fabrizio Romano reveals Chelsea's three conditions for Chukwuemeka's January loan

Renowned transfer market reporter Fabrizio Romano has revealed the three conditions Chelsea have set for teams interested in signing Carney Chukwuemeka on loan in January.
Chukwuemeka has struggled for regular first-team action under manager Enzo Maresca this season, making just five appearances across the UEFA Conference League and Carabao Cup.
His limited playing time has raised questions about his future at Stamford Bridge, with multiple top European clubs, including AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, reportedly expressing interest in the young midfielder.
Chelsea have reportedly opened the door for a loan move in January, with Romano confirming that clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and Strasbourg, the Blues' sister club, are actively exploring a deal.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: "Carney Chukwuemeka is also expected to leave Chelsea in this window. My information is that Chelsea are opening the door for a loan.
"Carney Chukwuemeka has some possibility to go to sister club Strasbourg but also Borussia Dortmund."
"Borussia Dortmund are in contact with the agent of the player and with Chelsea. Borussia Dortmund believes Carney could be an ideal option for the midfield."
Romano also outlined Chelsea’s three key conditions for any potential suitors.
He revealed that the club would only approve a straight loan deal without an option to buy, require the loan fee to be paid, and expect the player's salary to be covered.
"Chelsea are open to a loan but no buy option. So straight loan, six months, but no buy option, cover the salary, pay for the loan, and get the player back to London. That's the idea of Chelsea. Let's see what Borussia Dortmund or more clubs decide to do,” Romano concluded.
With approximately three weeks left until the close of the winter window, it remains to be seen which club will meet Chelsea’s terms to secure the services of the talented midfielder.
