Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who once donned the colors of Manchester City's youth team, is now attracting interest from several clubs in the English Premier League.
According to La Repubblica journalist Giulio Cardone via Lazio News 24, Dele-Bashiru is one of several Lazio players being courted by Premier League clubs, alongside Isaksen and Rovella.
The 23-year-old dynamo, has been making waves in Italy's Serie A with SS Lazio, and his impressive performances, especially in the Europa League, have not gone unnoticed.
Born in Lagos, he spent 11 years honing his skills at the Manchester City academy before making the move to Turkey to join Hatayspor in 2023 following the expiration of his contract at Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder's stint in Turkey was short-lived but impressive, earning him a move to Italy's SS Lazio just a year later.
Dele-Bashiru's impact at Lazio has been immediate, with the Nigerian contributing two goals and two assists in this season's Europa League.
His performances in Serie A have been equally impressive, scoring twice in the Italian top flight this season, including a crucial goal against Atalanta in December.
Dele-Bashiru's standout performances have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, who are reportedly keen on bringing him back to England. .
A return to England would be a homecoming for Dele-Bashiru, who grew up in the country and spent over a decade at Manchester City's youth academy.
With his impressive performances in Italy, Dele-Bashiru looks like an exciting prospect for Premier League clubs looking to strengthen their midfield.
