Brighton interested in signing Manchester City-reared midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru

English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City-reared midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru as they aim to strengthen their squad for a push towards European qualification.

Dele-Bashiru, who joined Lazio last summer from Hatayspor, has been in impressive form for the Italian club, scoring four goals for the Italian side this season. 

His performances have not gone unnoticed, and Brighton have identified him as a potential target to bolster their midfield.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Brighton have already made an inquiry about Dele-Bashiru's availability, but Lazio have responded with a firm "no". 

The Italian club is keen to hold onto the Nigeria international who has shown significant growth and potential since joining the club.

Lazio's decision to reject Brighton's inquiry is understandable, given Dele-Bashiru's impact on the team. 

He has already become an important player for the club, and his goalscoring record is impressive. 

Lazio are currently fourth in the Serie A table and is pushing for a Champions League spot, and Dele-Bashiru's contributions will be crucial in achieving that goal.

Brighton, meanwhile, are looking to strengthen the squad as it aims to secure European qualification.
