Victor Osimhen's nephew has reportedly started training with Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray ahead of a possible transfer.
According to habersarikirmizi.com, Osimhen's nephew has landed in Istanbul to begin trials with Galatasaray.
The name of the Nigerian footballer everyone is eager to know remains undisclosed.
Osimhen recommended his nephew to Galatasaray for training with their youth team, and his proposal was approved by the Yellow-Reds' management.
Former African Footballer of the Year, Osimhen joined Galatasaray last September after proposed moves to Chelsea and Al-Ahli fell through on deadline day in the top five European leagues.
Since his arrival in Istanbul on a season-long loan, the Napoli-owned centre-forward has quickly become a key player for Galatasaray, showcasing his exceptional goal-scoring ability.
The 26-year-old has contributed fourteen goals and six assists from eighteen appearances across all competitions, earning praise from fans and pundits alike.
Osimhen's nephew aims to be the seventh Nigerian footballer to be signed by Galatasaray, succeeding his uncle and players like Dominic Iorfa, Henry Onyekuru, Valentine Ozornwafor, Jesse Sekidika and Oghenekaro Etebo.
Osimhen found the net in the ongoing game between Galatasaray and Dynamo Kyiv in the league phase of the Europa League.
