Official: Former Super Eagles B forward joins two-time African champions Entente de Setif
Published: January 26, 2025
Through official channels, two-time African champions Entente de Sétif have announced the signing of former Super Eagles B team striker Kingsley Eduwo.
The 28-year-old has signed a contract valid for one and a half seasons, keeping him at Entente de Sétif until June 30, 2026.
Eduwo has joined the Algerian giants on a free transfer, having been a free agent since his contract with Club Africain expired in December 2024.
With stints at renowned clubs including CS Sfaxien, Esperance Tunis and Al-Arabi, Eduwo brings a wealth of expertise and attacking capabilities.
He played six games and scored once during his stint with Club Africain this season.
However, after falling short of expectations, both parties agreed to part ways amicably, paving the way for a fresh start in his career.
The signing of Eduwo coincides with a transitional phase for ES Sétif.
With former coach Redha Bendris departing and Nabil Kouki set to take over, the club is reinforcing its squad and leadership, highlighting its determination to emerge as a strong title contender this season.
Apart from the aforementioned teams, Eduwo has worn the colours of Gateway United, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, Al-Najaf and Al Urooba in the past.
