Hoffenheim coach reveals why Gift Orban will miss UEL clash against RSC Anderlecht

Hoffenheim's new signing, Gift Orban, will not be available for the team's UEFA Europa League clash against RSC Anderlecht on Thursday.

This was confirmed by the club's coach, Christian Ilzer, who revealed that Orban is ineligible to play in the match at the pre-match press conference via the club's official website.

Orban, who recently joined German club from French side Lyon, netted his first goal for the club last Sunday - a crucial equalizer in a 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt. 

However, his absence from the squad for the Anderlecht match is a significant blow to Hoffenheim's who are outside the playoffs zone at 28th on the log.

Hoffenheim are already facing a tough challenge in the Europa League, and the absence of Orban, along with 13 other injured players, will make their task even more difficult. 

The team's coach is facing a selection headache, with a severely depleted squad to choose from.
