Ola Aina lets slip he is likely to sign a new deal at Nottingham Forest, lauds 17-goal striker

Ola Aina has let slip that he is likely to sign a contract extension at Nottingham Forest, after stating that he hopes to be part of the Reds for many years.
The Nigeria international has roughly four months left on his contract at Nottingham Forest and was linked with moves to Manchester City and Galatasaray in the January transfer window.
Aina's long-term future at Forest remains unresolved, with his representatives still in talks with the two-time European champions over a contract extension, but no agreement is in place as of now.
There is talk that the Chelsea academy graduate could put pen to paper on a fresh four-year deal once an agreement is finalized.
Predominantly a right-back for club and country, Aina has made quite an impression since landing at Nottingham Forest, showcasing his versatility in the fullback positions and wing-back, earning him a regular spot in Nuno Espírito Santo's lineup.
When asked by Sky Sports if he sees himself staying at Nottingham Forest for many years, Aina responded: "I hope so. I really enjoy it here. I enjoy the staff, the players, the club, the community. Everything about it is a good place, so hopefully.”
Another key player for Nottingham Forest this season has been Chris Wood, who has tallied seventeen goals in twenty-four Premier League appearances.
Aina only had good things to say about the New Zealand international, describing him as one of the most easygoing and well-rounded individuals in the squad, though he maintains a low profile.
"Wood is the most chilled normal guy you will come across. He doesn't bother anyone, he doesn't get in the way, goes by his business, can have a laugh as well, so he's got a mixture of everything.
"He is just Chris Wood, he's in fantastic form, so good on him, he deserves it as well," Aina stated.
Aina has been a constant in Nottingham Forest's lineup, starting every one of their 24 Premier matches this season as they gear up to take on his former team, Fulham.
