'Both clubs agreed' - Turkish pundit claims Man Utd and PSG have made verbal offers to Osimhen
Published: February 16, 2025
Turkish football pundit Yağız Sabuncuoğlu has provided fresh insights into the future of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, revealing that Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have made verbal offers ahead of the summer transfer window.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, has been in impressive form for the Turkish giants, scoring 17 goals and providing five assists in 23 matches across all competitions.
His performances have drawn interest from top European clubs, making his future a major talking point ahead of the next transfer window.
Speaking in an interview with Sports Digitale via habersarikirmizi, Sabuncuoğlu disclosed that the Nigerian international is close to signing with a renowned sports management company to represent him ahead of the summer transfer window.
He also stated that a move to Galatasaray in the summer is unlikely, as a Real Madrid player is facilitating discussions with the management company.
"Victor Osimhen is about to sign a deal with a world-famous management company. In fact, a Real Madrid player is mediating these talks. What does this mean? The possibility of signing with Galatasaray in June has decreased a lot."
He further revealed that PSG and Manchester United have already made verbal offers to the Nigerian forward regarding his salary and contract terms.
"PSG and Manchester United made verbal offers to the player regarding salary and contract period. Because both clubs agreed to give Napoli a release clause.
"It is very difficult for Galatasaray to compete with these two clubs. He is most likely leaving at the end of the season,” Sabuncuoğlu added.
