Manchester City yet to table offer for Nottingham Forest fullback Ola Aina but there's interest
Published: March 13, 2025
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Manchester City have not yet tabled an offer for Nottingham Forest fullback Ola Aina.
The future of the Nigeria international has been the subject of speculation in recent months as he has less than four months left on his contract at the Reds.
Despite being offered a new deal by Nottingham Forest, Ola Aina has not put pen to paper, raising questions about his future with the two-time European champions.
Aina has been linked with a move to Manchester City as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker who has been loaned out to AC Milan for the remainder of the season, with an option to buy.
Although the Citizens are monitoring the situation of the Chelsea academy product, the current Premier League champions have not yet firmed up their interest in the Super Eagles defender.
Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray have also been mentioned as a possible destination for the 28-year-old but no concrete developments have emerged yet.
Aina has made a significant impact at Nottingham Forest since joining as a free agent in the summer of 2023, showcasing his versatility across the defence.
One of the first names on manager Nuno EspĂrito Santo's team sheet, he has started all twenty-eight games played by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this term, scoring two goals.
Aina has been named in the Super Eagles squad for their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda's Wasps and Zimbabwe's Warriors.
