Top 50 best dribblers Serie A: Atalanta's Lookman 22nd, Chukwueze 40th; Como's Nico Paz number 1
Published: March 19, 2025
Super Eagles wingers Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze have been ranked among the top fifty dribblers in Serie A this season.
According to the latest statistics by Euro Football Rumours, Lookman, who plays for Atalanta, is 22nd with 27 successful dribbles, while Chukwueze, representing AC Milan, is 40th with 20 completed take-ons. Como’s Nico Paz leads the rankings with 57 dribbles.
Lookman has been one of Atalanta’s most influential attackers, using his pace and skill to unsettle defenders.
The former Leicester City forward has been a consistent performer under Gian Piero Gasperini, helping Atalanta compete for a top-four finish in Serie A.
His ability to beat his marker and create space for teammates has made him a key asset in the team’s attacking setup.
Chukwueze, on the other hand, has endured a difficult campaign at AC Milan. The former Villarreal star has struggled for consistent game time under Stefano Pioli but has still managed to showcase his dribbling talent when given the opportunity.
With 20 successful take-ons, he remains one of the league’s top dribblers despite limited minutes on the pitch. Milan fans will hope to see him make a bigger impact in the latter half of the season.
Both Lookman and Chukwueze are currently with the Nigerian national team in Kigali as the Super Eagles prepare for a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda on Friday.
The match is vital for Nigeria’s qualification hopes, and the presence of two of Serie A’s best dribblers in the squad adds a significant attacking threat.
Lookman, who has been in fine form for both club and country, is expected to play a key role in the Super Eagles' attacking setup.
His ability to take on defenders and create goal-scoring opportunities will be crucial against a determined Rwandan side.
Chukwueze will also be looking to make an impact and prove his worth on the international stage.
The AC Milan forward has struggled for consistency at club level, but a strong performance for Nigeria could boost his confidence ahead of the rest of the Serie A season.
With the Super Eagles determined to secure all three points in Kigali, Lookman and Chukwueze’s dribbling skills could be key in breaking down Rwanda’s defense.
Nigerian fans will be hoping the two Serie A stars can bring their club form to the national team and help the Super Eagles revive their World Cup qualification dreams.
