Announcement imminent: Bolton Wanderers loan out 2025 Flying Eagles invitee Dubem Eze
Published: March 24, 2025
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that EFL League One club Bolton Wanderers are on the verge of announcing that 2025 Flying Eagles invitee Dubem Eze has been loaned out to National League club, Halifax Town.
The Chelsea-reared attacking midfielder joined Bolton Wanderers last July, following a successful trial, signing a two-year contract with the Whites - with a club option of a third year.
After spending the first half of the campaign at Chorley, Eze had his loan deal with the National League North club extended until the summer of 2025 during the January window.
His standout displays for the Magpies have caught the attention of clubs higher up the English football pyramid, with Halifax Town and Bolton Wanderers agreeing on a deal for the talented midfielder's transfer for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season.
On Monday morning, Eze took part in his first training session with his new teammates at Halifax Town.
His immediate integration into the squad suggests he could be in contention for a place in the matchday squad when Halifax face Woking in the National League on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old tallied three goals in twenty-four league appearances during his loan spell at Chorley.
Although he has yet to make his first team debut for Bolton Wanderers, he was an unused substitute in a 3-2 win versus Barrow in an EFL Trophy encounter back in September 2024.
Eze was officially called up for the Flying Eagles' pre-Africa U20 Cup of Nations training camp but has yet to report for international duty in Katsina.
