Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu has hailed Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen as his toughest opponent during his time in Serie A, emphasizing the Super Eagles striker’s remarkable strength and skill.

Kalulu, who played against Osimhen multiple times while at Milan, revealed that the Nigerian's physicality and movement were particularly difficult to contend with.
"I think it was Osimhen," Kalulu remarked was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
Osimhen’s performances have been pivotal in Napoli's recent successes, including their historic 2022-2023 Serie A title win, where he finished as the league's top scorer.
His ability to create space, combined with his tenacity on the ball, has made him a nightmare for defenders, earning him widespread recognition across Europe.
Kalulu’s comments come at a time when Osimhen is being heavily linked with top European clubs.
His dynamic style of play, combined with his consistent goal-scoring record, has made him one of the hottest prospects in world football.
Clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest in the Nigerian forward, whose transfer value has skyrocketed in recent years.
For Kalulu, who won the Serie A title with AC Milan in the 2021-2022 season, facing Osimhen was a reminder of the competition's high standard.
The French defender, who has also played against some of the biggest names in football, emphasized how tough it was to face a forward like Osimhen, who consistently challenges defenders with his explosive play and intelligent positioning.
As the transfer window draws near, it remains to be seen where Osimhen's future lies, but his status as one of the best forwards in the world is indisputable.
