Tom Edozie: Sibling of Southampton loanee on Eric Chele's radar scores against Man Utd U21s

Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed their spot in the Premier League 2 playoffs following a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Aggborough Stadium (Kidderminster, Worcestershire) on Monday night.
While Tom Edozie and Wesley Okoduwa, son of retired Nigeria international Emmanuel Okoduwa, started for Wolves, Denmark U21 international Chido Obi played the full game for the Red Devils.
Obi's teammates Victor Musa and Noah Ajayi entered the game as substitutes in the second half.
Tom Edozie is the younger brother of Southampton loanee Sam Edozie, who is on a longlist of dual-national players being targeted by Nigeria manager Eric Chelle ahead of the 2025 Unity Cup.
Tom is uncapped at international level, but his brother Sam has represented England's youth teams and was part of the squad for the 2023 Fifa U20 World Cup, where he started against Tunisia and Iraq.
Tom Edozie opened the scoring for Wolves in the 44th minute with a brilliant strike that found the bottom corner, but United claimed a point thanks to Tyler Fletcher's goal in the 52nd minute.
The English-Nigerian midfielder ended the regular season with five goals in seventeen outings for Wolves in the Premier League 2.
A product of the XYZ Academy, Tom signed his first professional contract at Wolves in August 2024, two years after joining on a scholarship deal.
Tom is an extremely gifted goalscoring midfielder who does his most eye-catching work in crowded areas, combining brilliant close control and dribbling with an ability to unlock a compact defence with a piece of skill.
