England U21 international of Nigerian descent Ethan Nwaneri took his goal contributions to eleven in all competitions after finding the net for Arsenal in their 4-0 rout of relegation-threatened Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon.
Nwaneri netted his ninth goal of the season against the Tractor Boys, with a deflected effort that found its way past goalkeeper Alex Palmer.
The 18-year-old provided assists in Premier League matches against Leicester City and Fulham.
Nwaneri has never tasted defeat in games where he's scored, with the Gunners claiming seven wins and one draw.
The Hale End Academy graduate expressed his delight after Arsenal's commanding 4-0 victory, reflecting on his contributions this season.
"I'm very happy with the amount of goals I've scored this season," Ethan told Arsenal's official website.
"I think that's what I can bring to the team. I can bring goals and assists, I've been able to display that, so I'm happy."
For Nigerian fans, the headline moment during the Ipswich Town versus Arsenal encounter was Nathan Butler-Oyedeji making his Premier League debut for the Gunners at 22 years and 106 days old.
Nwaneri showed admiration for his teammate and is convinced there's still a lot more to come from Butler-Oyedeji.
"Nathan's a top, top player. He's so sharp, his finishing is so good, so he deserves it. I'm so happy to see him out there on the pitch.
"He's someone I've played with for the last few years in the academy, so it was so good to see him out there."
Nwaneri has appeared in 33 first team games so far this season and made the most of his opportunities, showcasing maturity beyond his years.
