Musa scores 16th of the season as Man Utd and Everton play out 8-goal thriller in U18 PL

Spanish-born Nigerian attacker Victor Musa continued his rich vein of form by getting on the scoresheet as Manchester United and Everton played out an eight-goal thriller in an U18 Premier League fixture on Saturday.
Earlier this month, Musa earned rave reviews after scoring a double hat-trick and providing an assist as the Red Devils beat Leeds United 13-1 in the U18 Premier League.
A day after he was an unused substitute against Everton in the Premier League 2 playoffs, Musa was named in the starting lineup as United U18s faced Everton in their last away game of the regular season.
Ray Robert put the hosts ahead in the first half despite Manchester United's strong start.
The young Red Devils responded just before halftime, with Jim Thwaites and Victor Musa scoring to make it 2-1, only for a deflected cross from George Finney to bring the teams level at the break.
After the break, Gabriele Biancheri put Manchester United back in front, but two quick goals from Malik Olayiwola seemed to secure the win for the Toffees, only for Shea Lacey to salvage a point in the final moments.
Musa has tallied sixteen goals in all competitions for United's youth teams so far this season, comprising thirteen in the U18 Premier League, two in the National League Cup and one in the EFL Trophy.
The Tudela native has been capped at U16 level by both his country of birth Spain as well as England.
