17yo eligible for Nigeria, Ghana, two other countries trains with Arsenal first team pre-Liverpool
Published: May 10, 2025
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta assessed quad-national forward Andre Harriman-Annous in training ahead of their Premier League showdown with newly crowned champions Liverpool, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Harriman-Annous was among the academy players that trained with the first team stars at Sobha Realty Training Centre.
Another Super Eagles-eligible forward Nathan Butler-Oyedeji was also spotted during the workout, alongside history-making midfielder Ethan Nwaneri, who is a player of interest to Nigeria coach Eric Chelle.
Born in London seventeen years ago, Harriman-Annous is eligible to represent the national teams of England, Nigeria, Ghana and Lebanon.
The highly talented forward has not ruled out the possibility of playing for Nigeria if he is not given a Young Lions call-up in the future.
With seventeen goals in all competitions, Andre is making waves for Arsenal's youth teams, having scored on his full debut in the UEFA Youth League, Premier League 2, FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy and U18 Premier League Cup.
Although he has consistently impressed and trained regularly with the first team this season, a senior call-up still eludes him.
Sitting in second place, Arsenal have accumulated 67 points across their 35 Premier League fixtures to date.
The Londoners were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, losing 3-1 on aggregate to PSG.
