Two European clubs interested in Crystal Palace striker who trained with Flying Eagles in 2023
Published: June 11, 2025
Talented Crystal Palace forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi is attracting interest from two European clubs in the summer transfer window.
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Portuguese setup C.D. Santa Clara and Serbian SuperLiga outfit FK Radnicki are keen on signing the powerful center forward.
Ola-Adebomi was among the dual-national players that trained with the Flying Eagles before the 2023 Africa U20 Cup of Nations, but he didn't make the cut for the tournament in Egypt.
Thirteen years after joining Crystal Palace on schoolboy terms, the 21-year-old has yet to make his first team debut for the South London club, although he has been called up for four first team games.
He spent the first half of last season at Belgian outfit SK Beveren, where he made eight appearances in the Challenger Pro League, but was recalled in the January transfer window due to insufficient playing opportunities.
The attacker enjoyed a loan spell at Burton Albion in 2024, scoring a goal and registering two assists in fourteen appearances in the third tier of English football.
Romano has confirmed that Santa Clara and FK Radnicki have opened talks with Crystal Palace over the permanent acquisition of Ola-Adebomi, who has a contract until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
The striker boasts an impressive record, having netted 40 goals in 69 combined appearances in the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 — underlining his credentials as one of the club's brightest academy prospects.
Ola-Adebomi is one of several Nigeria-eligible players kept on by Crystal Palace for the 2025-2026 campaign, joining the likes of Tayo Adaramola, Asher Agbinone, Victor Akinwale, Malcolm Ebiowei, Owen Goodman, Mofe Jemide, David Ozoh, Franco Umeh, Jemiah Umolu, Uchenna Okoli and Sean Somade.
