'He keeps us waiting' – Galatasaray chief warns Osimhen 'time is running out' to seal permanent move
Published: June 23, 2025
The Galatasaray-Victor Osimhen transfer saga continues as the Turkish outfit continues to wait on the Nigerian forward for his response concerning a permanent move and aims to find a solution by the end of the month.
Galatasaray plans to finalize a deal for the 26-year-old by the end of June but is also planning alternatives since there is no clear 'green light' from the Nigerian.
For Cim Bom, sealing the move for the Nigerian striker tops their summer agenda before moving to other priorities.
After rejecting advances from Saudi Arabia, in a bid to continue in Europe, Victor Osimhen will now have to decide where he will play his football in the 25/26 season bearing in mind he has a €16million offer from Galatasaray, with Juventus circling around as a potential destination.
When interviewed about the potential deal, Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu was quoted as saying by Fanatik: "He keeps us waiting wait but time is running out. We've offered him figures higher than those proposed in Europe."
Galatasaray have already made known their plans for next season after the completion of a deal for Bayern winger Leroy Sane.
They would like to solidify their grip on the Turkish Super Lig and make great strides in Europe in the coming season.
