'Even Corolla we no get' – Boniface reacts light-heartedly to Osimhen's Rolls-Royce purchase
Published: June 26, 2025
Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has jokingly questioned his life decisions after his national teammate, Victor Osimhen, acquired a brand-new 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan reportedly worth ₦1.1 billion.
Osimhen, 26, who now plays for Turkish giants Galatasaray, showcased the ultra-luxurious SUV on his Instagram story, drawing widespread attention.
The new acquisition follows his earlier purchase of a Lamborghini Urus in December 2024 for a reported ₦600 million, further cementing his status as one of Nigeria’s most successful and flamboyant footballers.
Reacting to the post, Boniface shared a humorous comment on social media, tagging fellow Super Eagles player Raphael Onyedika.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker wrote on Instagram: "@onyedika15 you sure say we no go serious with my life like this so even Corolla we no get.”
The comment, laced with self-deprecating humour, quickly went viral among Nigerian football fans.
Many praised Boniface for his humility and sense of humour, while others noted how the exchange showcased the close-knit camaraderie among the Super Eagles players.
Osimhen has become known not just for his performances on the pitch but also for his taste in high-end fashion and luxury items.
With lucrative endorsements and a high-paying contract in Europe, his lifestyle frequently makes headlines.
Though Boniface's post was clearly made in jest, it added a light-hearted touch to the lavish display of wealth from one of Nigeria’s football elite.
