Published: July 05, 2025
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that former Nigeria U17 international Ibrahim Said is set to leave Viborg FF after five years with the Danish Superliga club.
The official website of Viborg FF reported on Saturday that Said was not called up for today's friendly against FC Fredericia because he is currently exploring the possibility of a move away from the club.
The Viborg manager named twenty-six players in the squad for the test game, including Danish-Nigerian forward Anosike Ementa, who got on the scoresheet in the 20th minute of a 7-1 rout of Fredericia.
Ibrahim Said earned himself a move to Viborg in 2020 after impressing at the 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup in Brazil, where he caught the eye with a hat-trick against Ecuador in the group stage.
A product of the Dabo Babes Academy, Said has lived up to expectations in Scandinavia, establishing himself as one of Viborg’s key players.
The 23-year-old is in advanced negotiations with two European clubs over a potential transfer, with a final decision expected in the coming days.
The Nigerian has communicated his desire to leave, and with Viborg no longer standing in his way as they did in past transfer windows, a summer exit is very much on the cards.
In 112 appearances across all competitions for Viborg, Said has tallied 11 goals while producing eleven assists.
Said has entered the final year of his contract with the Greens.
