Tavria President Says JAMIU ALIMI Is Ukraine's Top YoungsterFormer Under 20 Nigerian international Jamiu Alimi has been rated by Serhiy Kunitsyn, the President of Ukrainian club FC Tavria, as the best young player in the Championship.

Alimi, who joined Tavria from Westerlo, has put up some eye-catching displays in the Ukrainian Premier League whenever he is considered for selection. The youngster is delighted with the recognition from a high ranking club official.

The 19-year-old has suited four times for Tavria who are seventh in the league standings.

Meanwhile, Colombia 2011 Fifa Under 20 World Cup star Ganiyu Ogungbe will on Sunday travel to Ukraine to begin tests with vice-champions Dynamo Kiev. The central defender is on the wanted list of the club.
