Red Hot UDEMEZUE Yearns For Eagles Call-Up
Nigerian striker Udemezue Lion Emmanuel, who recently penned a deal with Moldovan side, RS Lilcora FC has appealed to the Super Eagles handler Stephen Keshi to step up his scouting scheme by extending invitation to players plying their trade in small European countries.

The former Olimpia FC of Moldova striker, who scored 33 goals in 25 matches, recording 5 hat-tricks to win the league double honours of highest goal scorer and most valuable player last season, commended the style of the Super Eagles’ gaffer but wants him to give every player equal opportunity.

''I am appealing to Stephen Keshi and his scouting team to closely monitor the professional footballers based in some small part of Europe. The Leagues there were very competitive. It is very painful that most of us playing there were not considered for recent invitations to the National Team.

“I’m on break and at home now in Nigeria. I so much desired to contribute my own quarter to the rebuilding of our national team if giving the chance”, the former Florentina Santiago attacker noted.

RS Lilcora FC (where the Port-Harcourt born striker plies his trade )is a Moldovan first division club based in ChiÅinÄu, Moldova.
