DICKSON NWAKAEME Scores On Debut For V-League ChampionsFormer KuPS striker Dickson Nwakeme on Monday signed a five-month contract with Vietnamese League champions Song Lam Nghe An. The financial detail of the contract was not disclosed.

Dickson Nwakaeme who left Finland with a huge reputation scored on his debut for Song Lam Nghe An, coming off the bench in the second half to score a 93rd minute equalizer against Sai Gon Xuan Thanh in the 14th round of matches in the Super League. The game ended 2-2 and preserved Song Lam Nghe An unbeaten start to the league.

''I feel blessed scoring on my debut after spending only three days with the club. Thank God it happened. Many clubs in Finland, Romania, Sweden and other countries in Europe were after my signature. But I chose SLNA because the money they offered me is unbelievable. I am in Vietnam for financial reasons. I am getting older everyday, and have to secure my future,'' Nwakaeme, who turned 26 on Saturday, told allnigeriasoccer.com.

In his three-season spell in Finland with KuPS, Nwakaeme scored 19 goals in 54 appearances in the league.
