Spartak Moscow defeated bitter rivals Locomotiv Moscow 2-0 to book a place in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League.
Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike as a result of his sending off in the 43rd round of matches was not suited for the red and white.
According to Sport Express Russia, before the kick-off of Sunday's game against the Railway Men, during the pre-match build up, Emenike's teammates warmed up in shirts with the slogan : "In our veins - the blood of Spartacus.
