SONE ALUKO Nets First Career Hat-trick
Published: May 13, 2012Former Nigeria youth international Sone Aluko bagged his first career hat-trick in Rangers' 4-0 hammering of St Johnstone on Sunday.
Coach of the Ibrox side Ally McCoist has showered praises on Aluko, admitting he is the one of his best signings in his managerial career.
''I had Sone down for 13 goals this season actually. In all seriousness though, he has given us a great return. The wee fella's hat-trick was absolutely first class. He has been wonderful all season for us and he gets into dangerous areas and takes people on.
"He's very quick and he can get free kicks but his goals today were superb. We've been singing his praises all year and deservedly so,'' the Rangers gaffer told the official website, rangers.co.uk.
Sone Aluko's treble took his tally to 12 goals in 23 appearances for the Glasgow giants.
