Al Sadd recently announced the capture of Spain's legend, Raul. Now, Nigerian right back Monday Ighalo, who last played for Liberty FC Egbeda, Lagos, could be joining the former Real Madrid great at the 12-time champions of Qatar.
Ighalo, 22, is currently in Qatar where he's scheduled to undergo two weeks of trials with Al Sadd. Should he impress Jorge Fossati, he would be offered a contract.
Nigeria Federation Technical Committee member, Victor Ikpeba, played for Al Sadd in the 2005 season.
