Goals Coming Fast For BENTLEY
Published: May 17, 2012
Brann SK won comfortably at home 5-0 against Sogndal in the ninth round of matches played in Norway's elite series on Wednesday.
The ex Odd Grenland winger, Chuks Akabueze, who is beginning to find his rhythm, opened the floodgates in the 52nd minute, his fourth strike in two games.
Today, Thursday, Akabueze and the rest of the Brann players went to the streets of Bergen to bond with their supporters.
Speaking to the official website after yesterday's match, 'Bentley' was delighted that he is now meeting the club's expectations of him.
''This makes me really happy. There have been great expectations for me and I thought I would get the breakthrough last year, but it did not, so it's good that it has loosened a bit for me now,'' the Nigeria international said.
Another reason why Akabueze is beginning to show his potentials this season is that he trained hard and twice a day while holidaying in Nigeria in December and January.
