OKE AKPOVETA Hopeful Of Joining Squad Next Week
Published: May 18, 2012
Brondby forward Oke Akpoveta could soon be ready for action on the football pitch again. Last September, Akpoveta damaged his ACL. Club doctors had earlier ruled him out for the rest of the season.
The ex Warri Wolves man has made remarkable progress in his rehabilitation, and could start training with the squad next week.
''It feels better. I shoot and run and has no hurt. I hope that there are no more problems when I get back. Hopefully I can train with the team in the last week of the season, '' Oke Akpoveta told Brøndby's official website.
Akpoveta signed a multi-year contract with Brondby last summer and made only one substitute appearance in the league before his injury setback.
