NNAMDI ODUAMADI: I Am Happy With My Goal
Published: May 20, 2012
After three years in the Serie B, Torino have sealed promotion to the Serie A, thanks to their 2-0 victory over Modena on Sunday.
Nnamdi Oduamadi, on loan to one of Italy's most successful sides from AC Milan, was on the score-sheet in the first half.
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com after the game, Oduamadi said: ''I am very happy with my goal because I really worked hard to be on target. I am also delighted we won the title. It was our main target before the start of the season, to return to the Serie A. Thank God, we were able to achieve that objective.''
Next for Oduamadi is a trip to the Peruvian capital, Lima. The winger is in the Nigeria selection which faces the South Americans in an international friendly on Wednesday.
